This Privacy Policy describes how PLENA LLC collects, uses, and protects information when you use any PLENA platform, including through web browsers, mobile devices, and any linked messaging integrations. It applies to all users regardless of location.
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, additional rights apply to you and are described in Sections 9, 10, and 11 below.
PLENA does not use advertising trackers, third-party marketing pixels, or behavioural profiling tools. Google Analytics is used solely to understand platform usage and improve PLENA's services.
On certain PLENA platforms, after completing an analysis, you may optionally provide your email address to receive updates about PLENA. This is entirely voluntary. If you provide it, your email is stored via Netlify Forms and used only to send PLENA product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email with the word "unsubscribe." PLENA does not share email addresses with any third party.
Several PLENA features use your browser's localStorage to save data entirely on your own device. This data never leaves your device and PLENA cannot access it. This includes your fraud log entries in DIGITA, your AI provider preference and key, your language preference, and any saved analysis results or evidence vault entries.
Community Reports are user-submitted fraud and scam reports stored on PLENA's servers and made searchable by other users. Please read this section carefully before submitting a report.
When you submit a Community Report, the following information is stored on PLENA servers: the fraud type category you selected, the contact point you reported (address, phone number, email domain, or company name), your written description of the fraud pattern, and the approximate submission date.
Community Reports are not linked to your identity, browser, or IP address. They are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you by PLENA or by other users.
Community Reports are user-submitted and unverified. PLENA does not investigate, confirm, or endorse any report. Reports describe alleged patterns of fraud only — they are not findings of wrongdoing against any individual or entity.
If you believe a Community Report about you or your organisation is inaccurate, you may request its removal by contacting reports@plena.app. PLENA will review removal requests within 14 days.
PLENA does not sell personal information. PLENA does not use personal information for advertising. PLENA does not share personal information with third parties except as described in Section 6.
If you use PLENA's analysis features with your own API key, your text inputs are transmitted directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, or Google Gemini). That provider's privacy policy governs how they handle this data. PLENA does not receive or store the content of these transmissions.
If you use PLENA's hosted AI analysis (where no key is required), your inputs are transmitted to Anthropic's API by PLENA servers. Only the text you enter into the specific tool is transmitted. PLENA does not log the content of these requests beyond standard server logs.
Community Reports are stored using Supabase, a US-based database service. Supabase processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and a data processing agreement with PLENA. Supabase does not have independent rights to use your data.
PLENA platforms are hosted on Netlify, a US-based web hosting service. Netlify processes standard request logs. PLENA also uses Netlify Forms to receive optional email sign-up submissions. Form data submitted through PLENA is processed by Netlify and forwarded to PLENA. PLENA's agreement with Netlify includes appropriate data processing terms.
PLENA uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), operated by Google LLC. GA4 collects anonymised visitor data including device type, approximate location, and interaction events. Google processes this data in accordance with its privacy policy and Google's data processing terms. PLENA uses GA4 for platform improvement only — not for advertising or profiling. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy. To opt out, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
PLENA uses Google Translate's website translation widget to provide multi-language support. When you select a non-English language, your page content is processed by Google Translate in accordance with Google's privacy policy. PLENA recommends users in privacy-sensitive situations use English mode.
PLENA uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Community Reports are stored in a secured database with access controls. PLENA does not store payment information.
No internet transmission is completely secure. While PLENA takes reasonable precautions, PLENA cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by PLENA's systems.
